This Website was created by survivors and supporters of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Our goal is for every women of color, yes, we are all women of color, to become empowered and informed of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment to either save yourself or someone you love.
We plan to break through the perceptions on who gets breast cancer. We want more of us to become proactive in the fight for a cure and to educate others.
Knowledge is POWER. We want to empower you with resources and/or support to help you
or your loved one with your journey through breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
About our Name:
We think that Butterflies are a symbol of HOPE. So, from this point on, we hope that every time you see a butterfly, it will encourage you to “keep the faith”.
The color Black is for the beautiful and courageous women of color enduring diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
And Pink is for promoting Breast Cancer Awareness.
What does this mean? That there is Hope for women of color in the fight against breast cancer.
